Our story begins with the dream of a boy from Maré who became an internationally renowned circus artist. After shining on stages around the world, Elon Souza da Silva returned to his community to perform his greatest feat: founding the Instituto de Arte Joias do Futuro (Joias do Futuro Art Institute) and giving back, in the form of an opportunity, everything art had given him.
